Mong Kok, The World's Busiest District! Did you know Mong Kok has the highest density around the globe?

At anytime during the day, Mong Kok has thousands and thousands of population flow. Feel the heat in Hong Kong

When Hong Kongers hang out with their friends, they usually meet at Mong Kok. Mong Kok is the center of entertainment: basketball and football courts around, electronic game stores, internet cafes, shopping centers, etc, are all around.

Most of the crowd is the young ones who can tolerate the rowdy environment.

The special thing about this area is the street food vendors; there are different kinds of local street vendor food e.g. ‘cho – tofu’—Chinese translation of smelly tofu, it smells badly but yet tasty.

Once you taste it, you may follow Macdonald's slogan, "I'm loving it!"

Just imagine during summer afternoons in Hong Kong, you will be already soaked with sweat after walking just for a few minutes. Another interesting spot in Mong Kok is the ‘po- hai -street’, the whole street of sports’ equipment stores.

Whenever Hong Kong people has the need for sports shoes, this will be their first choice to shop—it is comparatively cheap in the first place, and also updated with the latest version of products.

In general, Mong Kok is not a comfortable place for you to walk around when you want a peace of mind, but it is a great place if you want to move and shop around, and to feel the energy of Hong Kong.

Attractions can be found in Mong Kok: Temple street, Ladies Street, Sport shoes street, Golden fish street You can tell what specialty stores you can find by just looking at the names of the streets.
