When Hong Kongers hang out with their friends, they usually meet at Mong Kok. Mong Kok is the center of entertainment: basketball and football courts around, electronic game stores, internet cafes, shopping centers, etc, are all around.
Most of the crowd is the young ones who can tolerate the rowdy environment.
The special thing about this area is the street food vendors; there are different kinds of local street vendor food e.g. ‘cho – tofu’—Chinese translation of smelly tofu, it smells badly but yet tasty.
