Hong Kong Disneyland Review
View Hong Kong Disneyland
"Is it worthwhile to pay Hong Kong Disneyland a visit?" Been there and done that, the answer is, "It depends..."
It depends whether you like rides, games and/or animated cartoon characters.
- It also depends if you've been to other Disneyland.(If yes, then you will be disappointed.) - It particularly depends on how well you can handle "stress".Imagine, you have to queue up 5 minutes to buy a pack of pop corn, a cup of soft drink and etc.
Picture this: you need to line up to get a "fast pass" for a faster theme parks access.
Actually, fast pass is just a nicer way to assure you can get into a particular game.
My Personal Experience for Hong Kong Disneyland
I had only one ride - the boat ride. The good thing? I was fortunate to spend only 10 minutes in order to get on a boat!
The bad news? I did not find it very enjoyable.
(Read on and you will see why... )
And, I did not play any game, as I am not particularly fond of lining up.
Watching people lining up for games, pop-corn, drinks, and boat-rides was already a "theme-park" event ;)
Summary before the photos: If you desire to go to Hong Kong Disneyland, take your plunge. :)
Here are some Hong Kong Disneyland photos.
Getting To Hong Kong Disneyland by MTR

First of all, you can get to Disneyland by MTR. If you may simply follow MTR instructions, you can easily get to it with little difficulties.Getting There By MTR - The Most Efficient Way! If you prefer, you can also take the Airport Express Trains from Hong Kong International Airport at MTR Airport station to Tsing Yi station. Then from Tsing Yi station, take the Tung Chung / Disneyland Resort Line trains towards Tung Chung. You should get off at Sunny Bay Station and interchange trains to the Disneyland Resort Line for trains going directly to Hong Kong Disneyland MTR station, 33 minutes. Buy your tickets at the Hong Kong Disneyland Ticket Express, located at the MTR Hong Kong Station's Tung Chung Line Concourse or at Disneyland main entrance ticket office.
Special MTR arrangement!

These trains are atypical MTR trains and give you a sense of joy and excitement, once you first ride on the train!

"Standard" Disneyland Castle From Afar
A closer look at the Disneyland Castle

People say, one of the key differences between Disneyland in Hong Kong vs other places in the world is that there is mountain behind the castle in Hong Kong, whereas none of the other castles have that "backdrop".
When you walk past the castle, you will be welcome by various cartoon figures, instead Winnie the Pooh and Friends!

When you walked into the castle, scenes and scenes of cartoon movies will appear right in front of your eyes.If you are romantic person, you should love various romantic cartoons that are well-known world-wide, and for those who dream a lot; it would be nice.

But here is the reality for ladies,...

... but I don't dare to spell out the truth for the guys here :p
I better move on, before I get too many hate mails ;)
After these cartoon, we shall move onto the "unique" boat ride, and you will see why it's unique in a second...

To be frank, these are not some real "adventures", as they are too fake. One of the main reasons that I don't like HK Disneyland is that they are all too fake! We can see all kinds of fake stuff in life; why should we see more here at the theme park again?

The futuristic, and some of the cartoon figures!

My Conclusion:
If you love Disneyland, Mickey Mouse, and Disney cartoons... you must come. If not, I recommend you to go to Ocean Park for some real mammals. :)
A few advices If You Are Still Keen About HK Disneyland:
1) Dress casually. Do not bring too much cash, to avoid possible loss.
2) Bring a pair of sunglasses, as there is little shield in-between games, rides and theme parks.
3) Bring a jacket, if you are staying for firework show at 8pm.
4) If your bag is not fully packed, bring yourself a bottle of water or juice to save yourself a fortune!
Have you been to HK Disneyland? or what is your HK Disneyland experience or other Disneyland experience?
I would like to hear from you :)
