SCMP reports:
Two 16-year-old boys admit their part in the brutal chopping of seven-year-old Shum Ho-yin in Tsuen Wan last year. One says he was told: "The boy's hand must be chopped off.
It's believed that the 21-year-old lady, the child's step mother, was furious at her husband's flirting behavior. As a revenge, she plotted against him and sent 2 teengagers to chop her step-son's hands.
It shocked the city when the news broke out last year. How on earth some mentally unbalanced young lady could come up with such a brutal idea?
Why should the anger be laid upon on a 7-year-old kid who got nothing to do with any adult affair?
Poor kiddo.
If I were the judge, a death penalty should be given to the wife and the husband be castrated.
Of course, that's my own wild thinking.
Note: Death penalty has been abolished many years ago in Hong Kong. while it is still a common practice in mainland China.
