All About Hong Kong

April 27, 2006 21:36 - Living in Hong Kong

To find an accommodation in Hong Kong is not easy.

My friend's rental agreement is going to expire and he wants to move out of his "rat place", according to him.

Tung Chung is one of his choices. I went along to check out the vacanies there with him several days ago.

That's why you've been viewing a few pictures in the last few days.

Tung Chung is not really a nice place to live in. It's remote and the air was heavy. I could barely breathe.

The real estate agent said the air quality was affected by the nearby airport.

If you desire a quiet remote location, you may end up spending a lot on transportation.

If you aim for convenience, you may reside somewhere in Mong Kok or Causewaybay, where unwanted wanderers may knock your door :)

To find a place you love to live, in Hong Kong is no easy task, indeed.

The result of my friend's search for a shelter? Yet to find out...
