All About Hong Kong

Home : UnReal HK Diary : April 2006 : 2006-04-26

April 26, 2006 23:44 - If you don't mind waiting...

One of the things I "hate" most is to think where to dine.

If mankind did not have to eat, I am sure there would be more time for work, relationship, plays and a lot more, except to find where to eat.

Anyways, I went to a Japanese restaurant tonight, just to find out, there were TONS of people waiting.

I would not want to wait, but since my friend insisted, we waited 30 minutes before being seated.

During the wait, I read the newspaper ads which interviewed some Hong Konger who would wait 2-3 hours just to eat there.

The only selling point? One word: Cheap!

Well, not that I would wait 2-3 hours. Never.

Why wait? I prefer eating fast food restaurant, indeed.

For your information, the restaurant is called "Japanese Restaurant"

One of the dishes I had. Well served.

Well worth the wait? For a professional diner, maybe.

If not for my friend, I would not have eaten there. I don't like waiting ... who likes waiting anyways, right?
