Tonight news from TVB: A cuddly dog was abandoned in a garbage dump, with his limbs all badly brutally dismantled.
It is believed that the dog was mutilated of its four legs, 18 months ago.
Currently, the Law only sentenced animal abusers a fine of HKD5,000 and 6 months¡¦ imprisonment.
The penalty is peanuts compare to the agony imposed on to the poor creature by one of the cruelest person in the world.
When and how can we stop this cruel act to the helpless animals once may be pets of some ¡§loving¡¨ owners who abandoned them when the fire of passion subsided?
Sure worthwhile to put some thoughts to this issue.
