February 3, 2006 00:00 - If you can read this message, URHK is "clean", by all means.

at least in your country...

If someone told you, he or she could prevent the Hurriane Katrina back in 2005. What would you think?

And, if someone told you that, he or she could block you from visiting Google.com or Yahoo.com. What would you think?

Yes, it is happening in China.

Did you know there are more than 35,000 policemen in China constantly monitoring the content over the internet in order to protect the "safety" of Mainland China? Once they find anything suspicious, that site can be blocked from Chinese internet surfers (Hong Kong not included).

Due to the huge population of 1,300,000,000 (well, a big market to the businessmen), Skype and Google chose to sign some kind of "information-safety" agreement with China so that they could continue their expansion in this virgin land.

Good grief!

In the ancient times, China had built the Great Wall without lift-forks. Now, She is employing human-censors to block any potential hazardous information. She is indeed building another Great Wall on the internet.

The target is not horses or armies, but ideas and thoughts.

February 3, 2006 00:29 - Dead Chickens Exposed

I took this snapshot when I was on my way to work last week. I was glad to be able to catch the bike in motion.

What are those?

Yes, you guessed it right... Dead chickens!

H5N1: I am glad to have found Hong Kong.
