As the new year approaches, media is summarising events happening in 2005. TVB broadcasted a documentary debriefing "events of the year" tonight.
Then I realized how many things I have missed during the year. This reminds me to take note of the things happening around me in the year to come.
The highlight of the year, of course, is WTO conference held earlier this month. It is said to be the riot since 1967.
Many Hong Kongers reported increased salary/profits compared to the previous years since 1997. However, there are 170,000 Hong Kongers who earn less than HKD5,000 a month. The government was trying to impose a minimum wage to protect those bread-winner honest bread-winner.
Hope 2006 rolls by peacefully, not only for Hong Kong, but every nation.
