All About Hong Kong

Home : UnReal HK Diary : December 2005 : 2005-12-17

December 17, 2005 13:58 - Macau - The Heaven For Entertainment

You must visit Macau, if you seek restless and exciting entertainment, no matter where you go...

Two things are famous in Macau: gambling and car racing; both are very "dangerous" activities to me. Either one could easily break me financially fairly quickly.

I have worked in Macau for the past several weeks, and observed that Macau has been developing really fast, since the gambling rights were opened to overseas institutions last year.

Some taxi drivers, however, told me that some casinos might not survive in next two years.

Well, I think they might have underestimated the potential of gaming business.

Geographically, Macau can be divided in 3 areas: Macau, Taipa and Coloane.

Macau Taipa Bridge links Macau and Taipa.

Hotel Lisboa - one of the landmarks in Macau

I have stayed in this hotel for a week. I am amazed by its advanced facilities.
