All About Hong Kong

Home : UnReal HK Diary : November 2005 : 2005-11-29

November 29, 2005 23:17 - Confucius (551 - 479 BC)

Five hundred years before Christ, Confucius said this, ...

Taken In City Univerisity

which translates, true understanding is ascertained when you admit the things you know and honestly deny the things you are ignorant of.

Read again, think about it, and see if you really grasp it.

"Education For All"

It's ground shaking at that time for Confucius to get this idea. In fact, this is one of his most famous sayings which still affects Chinese thinking.

His motto is being fulfilled today with the help of increasing internet popularity.

Yet, there are millions of people who are still illiterate.

I appreciate you may read this far, as much as, I can write up to this point.

I guess we may help someone either read/ write and improve their life.
