October 26, 2005 14:52 - Many Receive Advice, Few Profit By It

Advice

Picture Taken In City University of Hong Kong

A famous philosopher once said, "People in nature are stubborn and we should only give advice, when it's requested."

I somewhat agree.

We learn only when we get hurt, most of the time.

It's best when friends around us show initiative to learn on their own. In general, people will learn only when they are punished by the consequences of their mistakes.

I usually keep my mouth shut, unless I really think someone needs a genuine advice.

I've learnt, the hard way that, advice is rarely listened. Even if someone listens, s/he will not implement it.

Wait a second, ... Why am I writing this? Am I trying to give out an advice?

Ha-ah... I better keep my mouth shut now :)
